My name is Rachel and I’m the North Wales Development Manager. I am based in our Wrexham office, and have been working at Funky Dragon for almost 5 years.
My job is to manage the North Wales Development Team, and to work with them on delivering work across North Wales (such as PSE workshops, youth forum training and other stuff). Other parts of my job include working on Grand Council residentials, meeting with other organisations and professionals, and exploring opportunities for young people to get their voices heard outside of Wales. I am also currently looking at ways in which young people can be more involved in the Welsh Assembly Government, and have more input into the development of policies which affect them.
When I’m not working (which feels like not very often!) I like to spend time walking my dog, and I also play the saxophone (though I’m pretty bad at it!).
